Polpier offers exquisite accommodations for up to 16 esteemed guests, boasting 8 opulent bedrooms. Each lavish room features en-suite bathroom facilities, with 7 graciously situated on the first floor within the main house, and the remaining bedroom awaits in The Honeymoon Suite.

Ground Floor

Hall and Disco: the central main hall serves as a vibrant disco, featuring a state-of-the-art DJ booth equipped with an integrated dual player/mixer. It accommodates music playback from CDs, laptops, or iPods, alongside two turntables. The colorful light beams synchronize and pulsate with the rhythmic beats.

Boot Room: ample storage area, ideal for fishing rods, tennis gear, and golf bags.

Cloakroom: featuring a pristine WC and elegant washbasin.

Family Room: adjacent to the main hall, you'll find the captivating family room boasting an expansive L-shaped sofa, a cozy wood burning stove, and an immersive Bose home cinema system showcasing an array of captivating films.

Snooker Room: on the opposite side of the main hall, lies the snooker sanctuary, boasting an exquisite eight-foot table and a grand bay window that offers captivating vistas of the serene harbour.

Drawing Room: Adjacent to the snooker room lies a cozy haven, adorned with plush sofas, a crackling wood burning stove, and picturesque vistas of the lush gardens and serene harbour.

Kitchen/Breakfast Room: in this expansive, well-appointed kitchen, you'll find a magnificent four-oven electric Aga, a convenient dishwasher, a sleek sink, and a luxurious granite-topped breakfast bar accompanied by comfortable stools accommodating up to 10 individuals. Adorning the space are a wall-mounted TV and French windows that gracefully open onto the sun terrace, all while offering breathtaking views. At the opposite end of this luminous and roomy setting lies the captivating dining area.

Ante Kitchen: this well-appointed second kitchen features dual fridges, a convenient ice maker, an electric hob, a pair of ovens, two dishwashers, and a sink.

Dining Area: at the far end of the kitchen, a rustic wood burning stove emanates warmth, contrasting beautifully with the opulent granite-topped dining table. This exquisite table comfortably accommodates a gathering of 16 individuals, while the addition of a T-shaped seating arrangement, boasting expansive windows that showcase breathtaking views of the grounds and the charming harbour, graciously extends the seating capacity to a remarkable 32 guests.

Games Room: adjacent to the kitchen lies the vibrant games room adorned with an exhilarating table tennis table.

Utility/Laundry Room: a lavishly furnished laundry area boasting two top-of-the-line washing machines, a pair of efficient tumble dryers, ample storage space, a secure gun cabinet accommodating up to 18 firearms, and a convenient cloakroom complete with a WC and a stylish basin.

Sun Terrace: French doors gracefully open from the kitchen/breakfast/dining room, inviting you onto the sun terrace adorned with an expansive granite dining table, accommodating up to 16 individuals, alongside a charming BBQ enclave. From this vantage point, revel in awe-inspiring vistas that encompass rolling hills, a picturesque harbour, and the sprawling estate.

Gazebo Bar: nestled amidst breath-taking vistas of the picturesque harbour and verdant countryside, the enclosed gazebo bar beckons with its awe-inspiring scenery. Equipped with a magnificent wood burning pizza oven, ample seating for 16-20 guests, enchanting lighting, and a cosy wood burning fire, it guarantees an unforgettable experience.


Nestled on two acres of stunning flower gardens, orchards, vegetable and herb gardens, and boasting panoramic views of Mevagissey harbour, these meticulously designed gardens offer an oasis of privacy for guests to savor during their stay.

The front of the house showcases a pristine croquet and cricket lawn, adorned with a charming gazebo at one end. A delightful path meanders from the sun terrace, guiding you past the lush front lawn and leading down to the outdoor heated swimming pool (available from Easter weekend to the first week in October). Accessible through a wooden gate, the pool area is thoughtfully furnished with sun loungers on either side and features a wall-integrated table, chairs, and a compact charcoal BBQ.

Tucked away behind Polpier lies the all-weather clay tennis court, ensuring endless sporting enjoyment. The boot room provides an array of tennis rackets, balls, and even a croquet set for your convenience.

To reach Penpol, guests can enter through a gate that remains open when both houses are occupied. This gate connects to a pathway originating from the sun terrace of Polpier, leading you past the outdoor swimming pool with ease.

First Floor

Red Bedroom: with breath-taking views of the harbour, this exquisite room rests above the snooker room at the front of the house. It features a luxurious super king-size bed, an en-suite walk-in shower room, and an awe-inspiring setting.

Green Bedroom: located on the side of the house, this exquisite room boasts a luxurious super king-size bed that can be converted into twin beds. The en-suite bathroom is adorned with a charming Victorian-style roll-top bath and a convenient shower attachment. Furthermore, guests can enjoy captivating views of the picturesque harbour.

Grey Bedroom: this serene and spacious bedroom resides at the rear of the house, over the family room. It features a luxurious super king-size bed and a private en-suite bathroom adorned with a charming Victorian-style roll top bath and a convenient shower attachment.

Blue Bedroom: this spacious bedroom, second in size within the house, is nestled at the rear, offering captivating sea views through multiple windows. It boasts a luxurious super king-size bed, an en-suite bathroom featuring a charming Victorian-style roll top bath, and a separate walk-in shower.

Yellow Bedroom: perched above the snooker room, at the front of the house, rests a lavish suite adorned with a super king-size bed, an en-suite bathroom boasting a charming Victorian-style roll top bath, shower attachment, and splendid vistas of the picturesque harbour.

Aqua Suite: this elegant residence features two tastefully appointed bedrooms. The master bedroom boasts a luxurious super king-size bed and offers breathtaking vistas of the enchanting harbor, stunning gardens, and a charming terrace. The second bedroom, also furnished with a super king-size bed, can be transformed into a twin setup, showcasing delightful views of the gardens and picturesque hillside. These bedrooms share a generously proportioned en-suite bathroom, complete with a classic Victorian-style roll top bath and a separate walk-in shower.

The Honeymoon Suite: nestled just a stone's throw away from the main house, this exquisite suite grants its guests unparalleled seclusion. With its inviting sofa, enchanting wood burning stove, luxurious super king-size bed, and en-suite shower and dressing room, this haven ensures ultimate comfort. Additionally, it boasts a convenient kitchenette. The bedroom features sliding doors leading to a balcony encased in glass, providing breath-taking vistas of the terraced garden and the captivating harbour. Moreover, the entrance to the Honeymoon Suite offers the added delight of a petite sun-drenched terrace that overlooks the enchanting apple orchard.

Penpol boasts multiple levels, featuring three lavishly appointed en-suite bedrooms, an elegant formal sitting room, and a spacious kitchen/dining room within the main house. Additionally, the property offers two more en-suite bedrooms accompanied by a charming kitchenette in the Garden House.

Main House - Ground Floor

Kitchen/dining room: in the well-appointed country-style kitchen, you'll find a splendid array of appliances including a four-oven electric Aga, an electric oven and hob, a fridge, a freezer, a sink, a microwave, and a dishwasher. Enhancing the ambiance, there's a Bose radio system with an iPod dock for your enjoyment. Gather around the spacious dining table, which comfortably accommodates 10 people, while French doors graciously open onto the terrace.

Living room: the inviting living room boasts a charming wood burning stove, a sleek TV, a modern Blu-Ray DVD player, and a collection of DVDs. It provides ample seating on a plush sofa and comfortable armchairs, with elegant French doors that open up to the enchanting terrace.

Washroom: featuring a pristine water closet (WC) and a sleek washbasin.

Laundry Room: two sleek and efficient washing machines and dryers.

Terrace: with breath-taking vistas of the harbour and majestic hills, the terrace boasts a charming dining area accommodating up to 10 individuals, complete with a lavish dining table and comfortable chairs. Additionally, sun loungers are available for ultimate relaxation.

The Garden House - Ground Floor 

Kitchenette: the compact space is equipped with a microwave, fridge, dishwasher, sink, and a washer/dryer. It also features a stylish table and comfortable stools, accommodating up to four people.

Bedroom 1: spacious double bedroom featuring a luxurious king size bed and a modern en-suite shower room.

Bedroom 2: expansive and elegant double/twin bedroom featuring a luxurious super king-size bed and a stylish en-suite bathroom with a refreshing bathtub.

Terrace: a secluded, enclosed terrace adorned with comfortable benches, providing scenic views of the bustling harbor.

Main House - First Floor

Master Bedroom: stunning double bedroom featuring a luxurious super king size bed, complemented by an exquisite en-suite bathroom showcasing a delightful Victorian roll top bath and invigorating shower. This exquisite bedroom offers awe-inspiring side views of the picturesque harbour and captivating front views of the lush gardens.

Bedroom 2: luxurious and spacious double or twin bedroom featuring a magnificent super king size bed, along with two comfortable chair beds to accommodate additional guests. This room boasts an elegant en-suite bathroom adorned with a charming Victorian roll top bath and a refreshing shower. Enjoy breathtaking views of the serene countryside, picturesque harbor, and meticulously maintained gardens. Adjacent to the Master bedroom, this enchanting retreat offers a perfect blend of comfort and beauty.

Main House - Second Floor

Bedroom 3: stunningly furnished, this spacious double/twin bedroom boasts a luxurious super king size bed and a lavish en-suite bathroom featuring a charming Victorian roll top bath. From its windows, guests are treated to captivating vistas of the picturesque harbour, enchanting gardens, and the majestic rolling hills.


The main terrace, accessible from the living room and kitchen/dining room, offers breath-taking views of the harbor and surrounding countryside. It serves as an exquisite space for al fresco dining, featuring a spacious dining table, chairs, and delightful pots of herbs for guests to savour.

Just down the steps in front of the Garden House, a smaller terrace awaits, providing cosy seating and a sun-drenched spot to unwind while relishing the picturesque vistas. Continuing through the steps and garden path, you'll discover the enchanting Chapel Garden, enclosed and adorned with its own mesmerizing goldfish pond and captivating sculptures.

An entrance through a wooden door reveals the alluring hebe garden, while another door leads directly to the road that guides you into the heart of the village.

Weddings and Civil Ceremonies (50 Guests) - allowed up until the 6th November 2024

Polpier and Penpol offers you a unique and exclusive location to create your perfect wedding day with a civil licence allowing weddings of up to 50 people.  

There are three potential locations within the house and the gardens for you to complete your wedding vows.  The gazebo on Polpier's front lawn, in the main hall or in the drawing room. 

To hold a Civil Licence event at Polpier it is required that the property is let for a week, a weekend or a mid-week.  A Civil Licence event is charged at £800. For couples who book Polpier there is no extra charge for up to 16 attendees.  For couples who book both Polpier and Penpol there is no extra charge for up to 26 attendees.

For larger Civil Licence events and parties there is an extra charge of £2,000 for up to 50 extra attendees.

Corporate Events

Polpier Estate is the perfect venue for corporate events, off-site meetings and executive board meetings. The house is well equipped for meetings with many reception rooms and local caterers who can look after the guests during their stay.
