Morfae Castle has undergone a stunning renovation and now boasts an exquisite collection of 15 beautifully appointed bedrooms, accommodating 30 to 36 guests. Among its highlights is a thoughtfully designed nursery, making it an ideal retreat for families with children.

Ground Floor

Kitchen/Family Room: the kitchen is a culinary dream, fully equipped with an iconic Aga, two hot plates, a toaster, kettle, and a sleek pod coffee machine. Practicality meets luxury with a dishwasher, ice machine, fridge, and freezer. At its heart, a central island offers a perfect prep space, while a cosy round table with four chairs invites casual meals. For grander gatherings, a spacious dining table seating 12 provides the perfect setting for unforgettable feasts.

Sun Room: a charming Sun Room featuring cosy armchairs, a delightful window seat perfect for relaxing, and a stylish poker table complete with six elegant chairs for lively game nights.

Drawing Room: a captivating Drawing Room featuring plush sofas, a sleek coffee table, a crackling open fire, an elegant round table with chairs, a majestic grand piano, and a classic chessboard inviting strategic duels.

Library: a charming library brimming with character, featuring plush sofas, elegant armchairs, a polished coffee table, a crackling open fire, a majestic grand piano, and bookcases overflowing with rare and historic treasures.

Dining Room: a grand dining room featuring an elegant table and chairs, thoughtfully arranged to accommodate up to 22 guests in style and comfort.

Ballroom: the Ballroom transforms into an elegant dining space, perfect for hosting groups exceeding 22 guests, with the capacity to accommodate up to 50 diners in style and sophistication.

Washroom: with washbasin and WC.

Chef Kitchen: the Chef's Kitchen is a culinary haven, fully equipped with a professional-grade oven, six hobs, two electric induction hobs, a commercial dishwasher, microwave, spacious commercial fridge, mixers, deep fat fryer, and a full array of pots and pans. Guests are welcome to utilise this exceptional space for self-catered stays; however, we kindly ask that they sign specific terms and conditions to ensure proper use of the kitchen.

New Wing Ground Floor

Billiards Room: a captivating Billiards Room featuring a grand, full-size billiard table perfect for refined games and timeless entertainment.

Laundry Room: equipped with two high-performance domestic washing machines and two efficient tumble dryers, ready to tackle all your laundry needs with ease.

Gym: a fully equipped fitness haven featuring a 90kg multi-gym, a 50kg bench with a barbell, a rowing machine, a running machine, an array of free weights and a table tennis table for a fun cool down session.

Grounds

Set across 1,500 breathtaking acres of lush grounds and enchanting woodlands overlooking the River Tay Estuary, this idyllic retreat offers a host of luxurious outdoor features. Enjoy a game on the croquet lawn, dine al fresco at the outdoor table, unwind by the firepits, or challenge yourself on the all-weather tennis court. Take a dip in the refreshing outdoor swimming pool (unheated and open from June to August), and indulge in exclusive access to your very own private beach.

Nursery Bedroom: south-facing with two bunk beds, each with a pull-out divan bed with access to a shared shower room just across the hallway.

Sycamore Bedroom: south-facing side with a queen-size bed with views of the gardens and woodland which shares a bathroom with Oak Bedroom with a shower over the bath.

Maple Bedroom: north-facing with a king-size bed, views over the Tay Firth, woodlands and gardens and en-suite bathroom with a free-standing bath and a separate shower.

Cedar Bedroom: northerly side with a king-size bed, views over the Tay Firth, woodlands and gardens and bathroom located across the corridor on the mezzanine level with a bath.

Hazel Bedroom: northerly aspect with a king-size bed that can convert into twin beds, views over the Tay Firth and private bathroom with a bath.

Cinema Room: experience the ultimate in comfort and style in our Cinema Room, featuring a spacious L-shaped sofa, cosy pouffe, plush armchair, laid-back beanbags, and a stunning 92-inch TV for the perfect movie night.
