What a fabulous trip with a group of friends. The house was absolutely gorgeous and very luxurious with every detail covered. Everything about it was perfect and there was just so much space. All the rooms were different but equally as comfortable and uniquely decorated. We walked straight from the door every day and the scenery was stunning.

We all had a wonderful week - the most comfortable, luxurious accommodation we have ever rented at home or abroad. It did not disappoint - in fact it was even better than we had expected . 9 adults and 3 children made good use of the hot tubs and table tennis and cinema room . The little train, the water mill museum, the local pub and the restaurant in the village with its excellent selection of dishes were all within easy walking distance of the house which was an added bonus . Lots of walks in the countryside and supermarket deliveries of fresh food meant we were happy to stay in Eskdale and relax - although the more active of the party drove to a near-bye lake and kayaked. And our two most adventurous even drove to Hardknott Pass! And at night, far from the city lights, star- gazing was a must from the grounds . We would definitely recommend a stay there!!
