The Grounds
Venture outdoors at Tregulland and you will find 16 acres of private grounds which include landscaped areas, a flat lawn for croquet or cricket and picnic benches.
An outdoor play area for children, an on-site Nature Trail Treasure Hunt and a tree swing.
A wooded stream leads down to a lake where you can go fishing (there are plenty of ghostie and mirror carp weighing over 20lbs, by prior arrangement). The grounds are rich in wildlife so you may spot and otter going down the river, starlings passing overhead, or even a kingfisher.
The first and only indoor fresh water swimming pool in the UK. Take a dip in the pure Cornish spring water drawn up through the rock and kept crystal clean using ground breaking plant filtration technology. The pool measures 12 x 5 metres, is located in its own atmospheric pool house with a 6 person steam room, shower room, changing rooms and toilet.
In front of the pool house is the guest's favourite: the bright orange wood fired Dutch Tub.
