Cookham House is a large elegant Edwardian house totally refurbished to a very high specification and has been sympathetically renovated keeping several original fireplaces and interior features. The house, nestled in the heart of this quintessentially English country village, accommodates 12 guests in 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms.

Cookham House is arranged over 3 floors and boasts 5 reception rooms and can sleep up to 12 guests in six bedrooms, 4 of which are en-suite.
Ground Floor
Kitchen/breakfast room: a bespoke kitchen with granite worktops and spacious breakfast room situated at the rear of the house, taking advantage of views over the lovely rolling fields and the beautiful morning sun. Cooking facilities include two full-sized ovens, steam oven and microwave/grill, set in a stylish cube formation. There is also an induction hob, dishwasher, American fridge/freezer and wine fridge. The oak breakfast table seats 12 in a square bench formation. There are also 2 televisions with Sky, one in the cooking area and one overlooking the breakfast table and the internal music system can also be operated from here
Dining room: an oblong dining table that seats 12 guests comfortably
Family/kids room: situated next to the kitchen and connected by double doors, the room has a comfortable corner with TV.
Living room: a large room with twin sofas and a large cinema style TV and Hi-Fi system, the room is sunny during the day and early evening, making it ideal to swing open the doors and take in the garden during the summer months
Morning room: this room is traditionally furnished and has a feature fireplace, this is a quiet room ideal for reading and without the interference of a television!

Master bedroom: with a King-size bed, vaulted ceilings with beautiful views over farmland and en-suite bathroom with a large circular bath, television built into mirrored effect walls and a walk-in rain shower.

Grounds
Set in a rural village, Cookham house takes advantage of the beautiful surrounding countryside and panoramic views. Accessed from the road through an in/out driveway the house is set back with a sweeping gravel driveway. The large patio area covers three sides of the house, the rear and south sides benefiting from the sun. There is a gas BBQ to the side patio and ample garden furniture to enjoy outside life.
