Wisteria Manor can accommodate 16 guests in eight beautifully designed bedrooms all of which have en-suite bathrooms
Ground Floor
Hall: a beautiful 17th century oak panelled reception room with a large working open fireplace with seating, round table, cabinets, huge window overlooking the gardens and balustraded gallery
Drawing Room: a large bright room with original beamed ceiling, plenty of sofas and armchairs, working fireplace, window seats looking out into the gardens, card table, drinks room with fridge, ice machine, glass washer and sink
TV/Cinema Room: with 17th century oak panelling, sofas, armchair, open working fireplace, projector and large screen and drinks cupboard with fridge
Kitchen: a fully equipped kitchen with a 4 oven Range cooker and 6 gas hobs, dishwasher, glass washer, large fridge/freezer, microwave, warming draw, toaster, coffee machine and kettle
Dining Room: a large dining room located across from the kitchen with dining table and chairs to seat 16 guests
Grounds
The Manor is surrounded by 20 acres of beautiful gardens and grounds. The main area with pathway leading to the entrance of the house is full of unusual plants with ancient roses and wisteria climbing the front of the house. The garden faces due west and has never ending views across the Cotswolds, towards the Broadway Tower.
The Tortoise Garden is also a west facing garden accessed via a few steps from the front garden and has stunning borders full of plants with views across towards Paxford and Blockley. A fantastic place for evening drinks.
The Rose Garden is a walled garden filled with many different varieties of roses overlooked by the summer house which has power, lighting and broadband along with a Peleton exercise bike, weights and floor mats located in the summerhouse in the Rose Garden.
The parkland is full of ancient apple, pear, plum and walnut orchards.
A short walk from the house is a spring fed lake which is perfect for wild swimming the temperature of which remains warm throughout the summer months. There is a paddle board and rowing boat for guests to use along with inflatables and water toys. There is also Rainbow Trout and Carp fishing in the lake (rods, tackle etc. are provided) and a Trout smoker.
Located next to the lake is the Boathouse with a large American Style Fridge/Freezer, Ice Machine, Nespresso Coffee Machine, kettle, large Belfast sink (with hot water), cutlery, glassware, crockery, a dishwasher, toilet and swimming towels. There is an outside dining table and chairs along with a large African Boma/Firepit which guests can BBQ on and sit round in the evenings along with a separate Gas BBQ.
Behind this there is a large 7 a side football pitch with 2 football nets. This can also double up as croquet lawn or Boules area (all equipment provided)
First Floor
Bedroom 1: with a super king-size bed which can be made into a twin, wardrobe, dressing table and chairs with stunning views across gardens and grounds, and en-suite bathroom with free standing roll-top bath, walk-in shower and twin washbasin
Bedroom 2: with a super king-size bed, beautiful 18th century oak panelling and feature fireplace, lovely views across the gardens and en-suite bathroom with shower over the bath
