Location - Lake Windermere Lodge is located on the eastern bank of Lake Windermere, a few minutes' drive from the picturesque town of Bowness, where there is a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants. Manchester can be reached by car in about 1.5 hours.

Lake Windermere Lodge will comfortably sleep up to a maximum of 10 guests via a choice of five luxurious en-suite bedrooms which are located on the first floor. The lodge offers an ideal setting and a perfect ambience synonymous with that of a designer ski chalet. The property has been designed using attractive Lakeland stone, an abundance of glass and several real oak pillars, creating a feeling of understated luxury, both inside and out.
Ground Floor
Entrance hall: spectacular double height entrance hall with a galleried landing and doors to the reception rooms
Lake room: a stunning room with amazing views of the lake and bi-fold doors opening onto the terrace. The room has comfy sofas, fireplace for those cold winter nights and a flat screen TV
Snug: the cosy snug room which is just off the Lake room has stunning lake views with sliding doors to the terrace. The snug has a large selection of books and a telescope so you can watch the world go by on the lake
Cinema room: an amazing boutique-style corner Mah Jong sofa from Roche Bobois is the perfect seating to watch a film on the 65” TV screen together with Cambridge Audio speakers. For the walking enthusiasts there is a huge local Bartholomew's walking map on the wall
Open-plan living area: comprising;
Dining area: a bespoke oak dining table seating seat 12 with the floor to ceiling windows to benefit from the amazing lake views;
Kitchen area: the modern gloss white kitchen with stone work surfaces is fully equipped and includes three ovens, an induction hob with island hood, integrated fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave and a Dolce Gusto coffee machine. The bi-fold doors give direct access to the terrace and stunning lake views, allowing the outside in. The adjacent breakfast area has a rustic green oak dining table and benches with views overlooking the lake;
Family room: a comfy leather sofa and two armchairs provide a lovely place to relax and soak in the views; for those cold winter nights there is wood burner
Games room: 8-foot pool table, flat screen TV, library and full height windows
Boot/utility room: boot room area is for storing those muddy boots and wetsuits. Utility/wet room with cloakroom, shower and laundry facilities including a washer and dryer

Landing: the bespoke glass and oak staircase leads to a spectacular galleried landing and access to the bedrooms
Master bedroom suite: the stunning master bedroom suite has a super king size bed, free standing double bath tub, stunning dual aspect lake views, full height sliding doors to private balcony, walk-in wardrobes, separate living area with sofa and chairs, steps to mezzanine chill-out area with bean bags and stunning lake views. The en-suite shower room with beautiful slate tiling has walk-in drench shower and twin sinks
Bedroom two: the bedroom has a super king size bed and a free standing double bath tub from which you can enjoy beautiful lake views. The bedroom also benefits from sliding doors onto a private balcony. The en-suite shower room has a walk-in shower and twin sinks
Bedroom three: the bedroom has a super king size bed and benefits from beautiful lake views with the full height windows. The en-suite bathroom has a bathtub

Grounds
Lake Windermere Lodge provides amazing and idyllic views over one of Britain's most famous and beautiful lakes. The boathouse and private jetty allow guests direct access to Lake Windermere.
There is a wonderful terrace with sun loungers ideal for watching the sun set over the lake, and outdoor dining furniture and a BBQ area with extra seating for al fresco meals. At the front of the house there are electric gates which shield the house from the road.
The lodge stands in over an acre of landscaped gardens, with a large lawn to the rear of the property, gently leading to the shore of Lake Windermere.
