Hillside House

We have returned safely from a fabulous weekend away. 10 very satisfied holiday makers. The four grandchildren made the best possible use of the amazing pool, in fact we all did and the hot tub was the hottest hot tub I have ever experienced. We wanted for nothing as this house was so well equipped. Thank you for all of the information you sent, as a result our Asda order arrived right on time and we were able to relax not needing to leave the property for anything. Spotlessly clean, everything was perfect thank you. An en suite for each bedroom.....perfect.

We had such an amazing long weekend at Hillside house in the lakes. The house is so spacious and well equipped, ideal for a large group. We had our extended family (17 of use including children) for our pre Christmas celebrations. The children loved the pool and the adults made full use of the Jacuzzi and the gym. The tables were large enough for all the family We enjoyed lovely walks around Ullswater and Pooley bridge. Very much recommended we would go back anytime it was fabulous for all ages. Many thanks.

We stayed at Hillside House for my daughter's hen weekend. It's an amazing house with fantastic facilities. Kitchen perfectly equipped to cater for 20 people with multiple appliances. Lovely location, lovely walks and the best pool and hot tub. Would completely recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at Hillside House very much - we all particularly enjoyed the luxury of having an indoor heated pool and hot tub. It was a great way of entertaining the 5 children. It's a lovely spacious house with a good combination of open plan space and comfortable bedrooms. It was all very clean and the caretakers were helpful.

We had a really fun weekend together at Hillside House, which was a perfect property for our family get together. There was lots of space in the living area and everyone really enjoyed the indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi. It was a perfect location close enough to Penrith for a pop out to the supermarket but with country walks from the house, other nearby attractions, and obviously the northern Lake District hills, so something for everyone to do.

We had a wonderful time at Hillside House, it's so spacious and perfect for group entertaining with a gorgeous huge terrace, and two dining areas. We had a great time taking it turns to cook dinners in the well-equipped kitchen. The indoor pool and hot tub were an absolute highlight with all ages, there's nothing like a morning swim to refresh you before a days hiking. The scenery nearby is spectacular, we enjoyed hikes up peaks overlooking Ullswater.

The first thing that I was aware of is how the photographs on your website reflected so accurately the size and amenities to be found at the house. All the rooms were of an excellent quality and left nothing to be desired. I suppose the highlight was the pool which exceeded expectations and certainly avoided any chance of the youngsters getting bored!

We had a fantastic hen weekend for my daughter at Hillside House. The house is amazing with loads of room and everything we could need. The views of the Lake District were fabulous. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hillside House at the weekend. We were very happy to discover the house was actually even better than the photos, particularly the pool which was much bigger. We did enjoy ourselves at Hillside House. We were 10 adults, 8 children and a very young baby and we thought the house was well fitted out and there was plenty of space for all, especially the children when they wanted to run about and shout. The pool was a very important facility and well used, especially by the children.

Fantastic property for large family group, the pool was fantastic for the little ones. Extremely well equipped with modern technology. Well located for Penrith and Poole Bridge. Good local pub The Beehive about a mile away.We had a brilliant week in a great house, with lovely cold crisp winter weather to boot. We will recommend Hiilside House and WOW House properties.

With regards to feedback we had an absolutely great time. The children especially loved the swimming pool and the owners had put a lot of thought into providing inflatable toys, swimming nappies etc to make this fun for all.The welcome gifts we received was a lovely touch and again the children loved the little toy dogs for each of them.
