We have just returned from a fabulous holiday at the Polpier Estate - the second house we have stayed in arranged by the Wow House Company. This Cornwall house was simply gorgeous! All rooms were immaculate and the house itself had a wonderful position overlooking the bay. Facilities were fantastic - including a swimming pool, outdoor bar area, tennis court and games room. I have to say that I don't usually spend this sum of money on a 3 night stay for our family and friends. However, our 3 night stay to celebrate my wife's 70th and our 40th Ruby wedding anniversary exceeded all expectations (not that my wife had any expectations as it was a complete surprise for her!!). I wanted to thank you for opportunity to let your property for my husbands birthday with family and kids and friends .The place had absolutely everything we needed - loads of essentials already provided like towels, tea, coffee, washing bits, even slippers and bath products. Such a nice touch! The games room was amazing - pool kids love it the most, air hockey, football table, pool table everyone had so much fun.The hot tub were perfect for relaxing (great that it was also protecting from rain ). 2 kitchens were perfect as we could not do BBQ because of Sunday rain. The house was spotless, comfy and really well equipped. Super fast Wi-Fi too (teens loved that) which was great for everyone. Great for families and perfect for special occasions. Had fabulous long weekend in Lulworth. Beautiful position with views of Lulworth Cove watching the yachts come and go. Stunning thatched house with amazing indoor pool, real open fire and fantastic bar in open plan layout so plenty of room for us all to chat and party in. Walks were great with views right down the Jurassic coast, pub, cafes, and fish & chips close too, plus sauna, wild swimming and boats trips 2 mins walk away. We booked a weeks stay at one of the houses on the WOW HOUSE website. The company was always helpful and quick to respond to any concerns. Instructions and terms were clearly laid out and followed by all the team at WOW. If anything was unclear they went to great lengths to clarify the situation. The website gave a very clear and honest description of the house. It is a truly beautiful house in a lovely location. Hammetts a recommended caterer did a wonderful job of providing delicious food for our anniversary party. Perfect Venue for a multi-generational birthday celebration. Our entire family - from tiny babies to Grandad who was celebrating his 80th birthday - enjoyed a brilliant weekend at Somerset House. We had a great weekend at Somerset House. The facilities were fabulous for a multi generational family group. We loved the tennis courts, swimming pool, basket ball and bar area and the lounges were lovely for the less active to relax in. The master bedrooms were beautiful and the beds were so comfy. We found the two kitchens difficult to navigate and the hot water ran out sooner than we'd have liked in the showers but we all had such a fantastic time and would happily stay there again.
