Location - St. Mawes in Cornwall is a small fishing village located at the end of the Roseland Peninsula. St. Mawes Castle is on the western point of the village and was built to protect the harbour back in the 17th Century; the castle is hugely popular and a great place to visit.

THE ACCOMMODATION

Slipway House will sleep 8 guests in 4 double en-suite bedrooms of which 3 can be made into twin bedrooms. The house has amazing views throughout across the bay and headlands.

Ground Floor

Entrance hallway: you enter the house on the first floor with a large staircase down to:

Sitting room: the sitting room continues the trend throughout the house of bay and headland views. Simply modern, uncomplicated and comfortable interiors with the use of a working piano

Dining room: the dining room has seating for 8-10 guests and also benefits from the bay and headland views

Snug room: there is a secondary (smaller) sitting room with flat screen TV and Freeview and Sky UK connection

Kitchen: the kitchen is open plan, well equipped with modern appliances and has a breakfast table accommodating 8 guests. Fridge/freezer, dishwasher, double wall mounted ovens and an AGA cooker

Utility room: modern pantry room and laundry room with washer/dryer

Cloakroom: downstairs shower room with W.C.

First Floor

Master bedroom: large bedroom with a super king size bed, the bedroom has breathtaking views out to sea and has its own en-suite bathroom

Bedroom 2: king size double bed or twin room with its own en-suite bathroom

Grounds

Slipway House has direct waterfront access which is completely private and secluded. The upper spacious garden terrace is an excellent spot for outdoor dining and the further lower terrace makes a quiet sitting area up close and personal to the sea. Both terraces are planted with colourful bedding plants and typically Cornish shrubs, trees and further plantings. Also, do not forget that you have full and private access to the sea from the slipway. On the upper terrace you can enjoy dining facilities for 8 guests and there is a BBQ for al fresco eating.
