Location: Penpol is located in the picturesque harbour village of Mevagissey, 5 miles south of St Austell with coastal paths leading from either side of the village to the sandy beaches of Polstreath and Portmellon.   

Nearest Train Station: St Austell, 15 minute drive (6 miles)

Nearest Airport: Newquay, 45 minute drive (21 miles)

London: 4 hours 45 minutes by car (271 miles) or 4 hours 30 minutes by train (London Waterloo to St Austell)


THE ACCOMMODATION

Penpol can accommodate 6 + 2 guests in 3 spacious en-suite bedrooms 

Ground Floor

Kitchen/dining room: with a well equipped country style kitchen complete with a four oven electric Aga, an electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer, sink, microwave, dishwasher and a Bose radio system with iPod dock and a dining table to seat 10 people with French doors opening out onto the terrace 

Living room: with a wood burning stove, TV with Full Sky package, a Blu-Ray DVD Player and DVD's, plenty of seating on a comfy sofa and armchairs with French doors opening out onto the terrace

Washroom: with WC and washbasin

Laundry Room: with 2 washing machines and dryers

Terrace: with stunning views over the harbour and the surrounding hills the terrace has a dining table and chairs for up to 10 people and sun loungers  

First Floor

Master Bedroom: double bedroom with a super king size bed and an en-suite bathroom with Victorian roll top bath and shower.  This bedroom benefits from magnificent side views of the harbour and front views of the gardens

Bedroom 2: double or twin bedroom with a super king size bed and 2 chair beds for extra guests and an en-suite bathroom with a Victorian roll top bath and shower.  With views of the countryside, harbour and gardens located next to the Master bedroom

Second Floor

Bedroom 3: double or twin bedroom with a super king size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a Victorian roll top bath.  This bedroom has beautiful views of the harbour, gardens and the rolling hills

Gardens

The main terrace can be accessed from both the living room and the kitchen/dining room of the house and is a fantastic space perfect for al fressco dining, with a large dining table that can seat 10 guests and pots of herbs which are available for guests to help themselves to.  With amazing views of the harbour and the surrounding countryside.

Following the steps and path down through the beautiful gardens you will be led to the enclosed Chapel Garden complete with its own gold fish pond and exotic sculpture.  

A wooden door leads you into the hebe garden and another door takes you out onto the road which leads to the heart of the village.
