Orchard House

We did indeed enjoy the week, thanks. The house, pool house and grounds are fabulous and the facilities comprehensive. Anna and Peter were very welcoming and Anna in particular was appreciated for entertaining the kids, feeding the animals etc.

We had a very enjoyable stay. The swimming pool, sauna and spa facilities were particularly welcomed.,The house and bedrooms were all comfortable and in keeping with the property period.,We particularly enjoyed the artisan produce that was provided in the welcome hamper.The house and grounds keepers looked after all our needs, for which we were extremely grateful. We hope to be able to stay there again in the early new year.

We enjoyed Christmas 2018 at Orchard House so much we did it again-and enjoyed it even more. Great location and lots to do whatever the weather. The house was beautifully decorated and we felt at home as soon as we arrived.

We just wanted to say THANK YOU for a wonderful few days spent at your beautiful, characterful home in Tyringham. It was a very special time for us as a family and Tyringham House provided the perfect setting. We loved every minute! Laszlo and Betty were very welcoming and looked after us brilliantly. We had a lovely family weekend at Orchard House. Everyone loved the pool and hot tub. Shooting and archery with Laszlo were fun. New activities round every corner. We kept finding new things and activities around every corner. The children loved the friendly pigs and the other animals. A comfortable and fantastically well equipped house. Thank you also for the hamper full of delicious things. We all loved it so much, my granddaughters are already planning a return visit in the summer. Orchard House was the perfect place for a special birthday.

We were made to feel very welcome and the owner very kindly left us a basket of goodies on arrival, including pastries, pie, jam, honey, cheese etc. It is impossible to think of any game or activity that wasn't available at the property and we all had an amazing time. The kids adored the animals in the grounds, we thoroughly enjoyed the pool and tennis court as well as snooker room. I think we would need to stay a month to make use of all that was on offer. The staff were exceptionally helpful and a great time was had by all.

Orchard House was superb. A huge hamper of goodies was left by Richard, Lazlo was delightful at showing us around and being available if required although we didn't call on him. The house is so comfortable and all of the activities were amazing. Truly fantastic week was had by all.

Our stay at Orchard House exceeded our expectations. Charming, comfortable bedrooms, very nice bathrooms, loads of room for everyone, beautiful gardens, etc., we all felt like we had hit the jackpot!There was so much to choose from in the way of activities, both indoors and out, that we were rather spoilt for choice. The animals were a great hit with everyone, especially our two-year-old!The welcome hamper was lovely and very much appreciated - enjoyed all the goodies therein.

I would like to say how much we enjoyed our week's stay at the beautiful Orchard House. Laszlo and Betty were so friendly and helpful. Betty cooked us a lovely lasagne, with delicious garlic bread and amazing apple pie! Laszlo was excellent in teaching us archery, rifle shooting and quad biking and go karting. There was so much to do at Orchard House, it didn't matter what the weather was like! We loved the indoor pool and jacuzzi, the games room, snooker table, tennis courts and looking at all the animals. It was a very relaxing holiday and we would love to come back again.

We had a terrific time. Orchard house is a truly enchanting property where we all slipped into a state of complete relaxation the moment we arrived. The fact that the kids were able to explore a safe and enclosed environment allowed the adults to sit back and enjoy the spectacular views and extensive facilities. My 40th celebration truly could not have been a happier experience surrounded by my family in this special place.Hopefully we'll be back to celebrate again, only for longer!

We all had an absolutely fantastic holiday. We loved the facilities at the house including the swimming pool, sauna and hot tub, tennis court, table tennis, snooker/pool. The grounds were lovely, with trees in blossom and we all enjoyed the access to the animals at Orchard House. We were lucky with our timing as the baby lambs were a delight - particularly "Minty" the lamb that was being bottle fed and so loved being near to humans. Thanks to Laszlo and Betty for allowing us to join in with the feeding. All in all, this is a fantastic place for a family holiday and we had a great time.

Our weekend celebrations were wonderful, happy and active for the whole family. Everyone had a really good time. Laszlo was simply brilliant at coaching and encouraging the children and sometimes their parents and grandparents in the arts of shooting and quad-biking. The house is spacious and comfortable and the swimming pool, Jacuzzi and sauna very popular with the girls.Finally, many thanks for the hamper of delicious food.

We had an absolutely fantastic time at the house! There was so much to do despite a rather wet Saturday, thanks to Laszlo who helped entertain the kids with the go kart and my Dad, husband and brother in law loved the shooting and quad bike. We had a lovely meal in the conservatory on Sat night too. The pigs and sheep were a hit with the kids and the pool was brilliant!

A wonderful celebratory few days for our daughter's 40th Birthday.It was everything we wished it to be with so much to do and enjoy both in the house and in the grounds. The grandchildren in particular were overwhelmed with all the games and particularly loved the animals - especially the very friendly sheep and pigs! We all loved the whole ambience of the house and grounds and would like to think we might return again one day.
