Mayfield House

Enjoyed our family weekend together at Mayfield House. A lovely property, well maintained, spacious and luxurious. The swimming pool and snooker table were particularly popular in March.

The property met our expectations and was an exceptional stay for our guests, my wife and myself. The cinema and billiard room were most entertaining. The bedrooms and bathrooms were wonderful and having the chef cater for the Saturday evening made it quite an occasion for us all. Highly recommended. In all I can recommend this as a way to celebrate any significant event in one's life! with your close friends. Many thanks for your help and opportunity to enjoy Mayfield.

We had a wonderful family gathering at Mayfield House. The house and facilities are exceptional and the extensive accommodation was perfect for putting up our three children and their families. The house was exceptionally clean and all the necessities were provided. There was so much to keep us all occupied at the house and our grandchildren, in particular, enjoyed the swimming pool and cinema room. The weather was kind to us and we were able to play cricket and badminton outside with our family. The house is set in beautiful countryside and we enjoyed visiting historic Mayfield nearby. Thank you for kindly arranging a very memorable stay.

We did indeed thoroughly enjoy ourselves at the property over Easter. Our booking was somewhat last minute, and then two of the children took ill so both them and my daughter in law were unable to join us. Deciding to proceed was a good decision as a very good holiday was had by the rest of us. We all enjoyed our stay at Mayfield House very much. A house in which every room is designed with comfort first and foremost in mind. Heated indoor pool, full sized pool table and steam room - all providing wonderful ways of enjoying yourself when the weather is cold or wet. Mayfield is a fascinating village close at hand with Lewes, Eastbourne and Tunbridge Wells all within easy reach. Please rest assured that whenever in the future we are looking for that special place to celebrate, Wow House will be one of our first places to look, and something which we pass on to friends and family already.

We had a lovely stay at Mayfield. It really is a WOW entrance to a wonderful house. Louise was there to greet me and show me around the house. The swimming pool and cinema room were a great hit with all the family. We used the services of Loic for an excellent birthday buffet for my grandson which everyone enjoyed. All the adults and children had a great time. It was a nice break for us all and lovely to spend time together.

We had a lovely time at Mayfield. The house is well-proportioned, elegantly furnished and extremely well equipped and the garden is beautiful. With the indoor pool, cinema and billiards room there was loads to occupy all ages in our party ranging from 2 to 79 years. Nearby Mayfield village is well worth a visit and the village pub serves a great Sunday lunch.

We find Mayfield House to be a well laid out and proportioned property. The large Number and size of bathrooms Is a great plus for a large family party. Equally the reception rooms are generous and the gardens perfect for toddlers. The indoor pool is great for rainy days. All the above explains why we have been twice!

We had a wonderful stay at Mayfield House. It was very well equipped and perfect for us. We were there to celebrate my 70th birthday so had three generations to keep happy and although the weather left a lot to be desired there was enough room and plenty of facilities to keep everyone very happy. The chef, prepared a wonderful meal on the Saturday evening and was not worried at all about having a few young children popping in and out of the kitchen. I would certainly love to stay there again.

Mayfield House itself and all the bedrooms and bathrooms, the living spaces, indoor and outside and the leisure facilities were magnificent. The garden was delightful and the superb countryside with lovely villages nearby made for a stunning location. The leisure facilities and particularly the beautiful indoor swimming pool were great hits with all the children and adults. I expected a very high standard but I would particularly like to say that the feeling of the quality of all aspects of the property, the thoughtful detail and the welcome abundance of crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensils impressed me and made our stay comfortable and easy. We had a truly memorable and entirely wonderful time at Mayfield House. Everyone in our party thought it was a fabulous weekend and we were able to relax together in a most luxurious and genial environment.
